First Baptist Church of Smartt will hold its annual Youth Group Cruise-In on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide children with food on the weekends.“Our youth group members wanted to help provide food to the less fortunate children in Warren County,” said First Baptist Church of Smartt member Teddy Boyd. “There is no set fee for the cruise-in. Instead, we ask for food donations or monetary donations to buy food for the youth group’s community outreach program to combat hunger.”Donations go to fund Fuel Bags, a food subsidization program that discretely places bags of food directly in the backpacks of needy children every Friday afternoon.Warren County Schools provides free breakfast and lunch to all children during the school day.
