Service truck theft leads to 180 days

A man who stole a service truck valued at $35,000 has been sentenced to serve 180 days in jail.John Austin Graham Curtis, 24, was ordered to serve 180 days of a four-year sentence for theft between $10,000 and $60,000, evading arrest, and driving on a revoked license. The incident which led to charges against Curtis occurred in the Oak Grove area where a yellow service truck was reported off the roadway. Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Kelly Carter responded to the call and was advised by dispatch the vehicle in question matched the description of one reported stolen a few days earlier in DeKalb County.
