Lawmen are looking for three men who burst into a Jess Roberts Lane home with shotguns and tried to rob the residents.The incident, according to Sheriff Jackie Matheny, happened around 7:15 a.m. Thursday.“Three armed men carrying shotguns and wearing bandanas came into the house and tried to rob the residents there,” the sheriff said, noting that no one was injured in the attempted heist.The men then fled into the woods before lawmen arrived. A search of the area proved fruitless although the sheriff said there are suspects in the case.The home is located in the Mt. Leo area.The robbers were described as two black males and a lighter skinned male, perhaps Hispanic.
