Repeat drunk driver gets 120 days in jail after crashing car

A repeat drunk driver who ran from police before crashing in someone’s front yard has been given 120 days in jail.The drunk driver, Michael Richard Malone, 39, entered guilty pleas to charges of evading arrest, fourth-offense DUI, driving on a revoked license, domestic assault and vandalism. He was ordered to serve 120 days of a three-year sentence, lose his driver license for six years and pay $1,200 plus costs.His drunk driving arrest came on the heels of a domestic dispute where police had been dispatched.“There was a report of a physical domestic on Caldwell Street,” said McMinnville policeman Austin Wortman, noting he was heading toward the call and was advised the suspect had left the scene in a white Camaro. “I noticed a vehicle with an inoperable passenger-side headlight.”The officer turned around on the suspect vehicle and activated his blue-lights and siren.
