Richard O’Connor, newly appointed pulpit minister at Westwood Church of Christ, offered the keynote remarks at the annual One Nation Under God prayer breakfast presented by the McMinnville Evening Exchange Club. Continuing a Thanksgiving-season tradition that dates back several decades, the breakfast last Tuesday morning in the fellowship hall of Central Church of Christ was a gathering place for scores of local students and their principals, along with McMinnville and Warren County government representatives. The One Nation Under God prayer breakfast airs on public radio WCPI 91.3 Wednesday and Thursday at 10:05 a.m.
