With Christmas break approaching, Milner Recreation Center is sure to be busy with both kids and teachers out of school.

With that in mind, Milner Recreation Center has re-released its rules for the gym to ensure everyone can enjoy their visit. There are 13 rules and guidelines gym users must follow.

Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Proper attire including shirts, shorts, and non-marking gym shoes must be worn at all times. No bare feet, flip-flops, boots, sandals, or dress shoes are allowed.

There is no hanging on the basketball rims or bouncing the ball against the walls. Gym users are not allowed to kick or throw balls against the windows, walls, or doors. Profanity or vulgar language is prohibited.

Gambling, fighting, yelling, spitting or indecent conduct will not be permitted. All radios, phones, MP3 players, or other music devices must be used with headphones. No smoking or chewing tobacco is allowed.

Staff members are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Milner Recreation Center reserves the right to modify or enforce policies that will ensure the safety and enjoyment for all participants.

The staff members reserve the right to resolve all conflicts during play on the gym floor. The staff also has the right to reject anyone who does not follow the rules. The night supervisor is in charge during night and weekend hours.

Milner Recreation Center encourages everyone to read their rules and guidelines before they come to the gymnasium.
