A McMinnville man faces multiple charges involving activities with underage children in neighboring DeKalb County.

Toby Denton Pack, 31, of McMinnville was arrested on Tuesday for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, as well as solicitation of a person under 18. 

According to a report issued by Smithville police chief Mark Collins, during an investigation regarding a runaway local juvenile, detectives determined Pack gave the juvenile in question a ride from Smithville to Warren County, preventing the juvenile from making a safe return to either her family or law enforcement.

Pack was also arrested after allegedly using the social media platform “Snapchat” to solicit an undercover law enforcement officer, who he reportedly believed was a 14-year-old female. Pack allegedly asked the officer to come to his house for a sexual encounter.

Collins stated Pack admitted to both charges while being questioned. He is scheduled to appear in court in DeKalb County on Aug. 22.
