A McMinnville man accused of violating a pair of orders of protection is currently behind bars.

Charles Tyler Nunley, 33, was arrested Thursday evening, and is being held at the Warren County Jail under a total bond of $250,000 for two counts of violation of an order of protection.

According to arrest reports received from the Warren County Court Clerk’s office, Nunley allegedly contacted his former girlfriend via telephone, using a blocked number, on the afternoon of Feb. 26. The girlfriend testified she hung up the phone immediately after hearing Nunley on the other end of the line.

The phone call violated an order of protection which had been standing between the alleged victim and Nunley for quite some time, and which Nunley had violated on at least one other occasion. According to court records, Nunley was charged with two counts of violation of an order of protection against the same victim in May of 2024, as well as one count of violation of conditional release. He was indicted by the Warren County Grand Jury on those charges in August of last year.

While serving an active arrest warrant on Nunley Thursday, Warren County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Logan Kell and Hunter Bouldin reported they responded to an address on Ivy Bluff Trail, making contact with Nunley as well as a female subject with whom Nunley also had an active order of protection, resulting in his second charge which came with a $50,000 bond.

Nunley is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court for arraignment on both counts March 11.
