The Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports Program teaches life skills and STEM principles through shooting sports. Youth learn safety and shooting techniques in the disciplines of air pistol, archery, hunting, muzzleloader, rifle and shotgun.

Warren County 4-H is starting a shooting sports program. The program will focus on the shotgun discipline with a shotgun team.

This program is open to any student in grades 7-12 in the county who is interested in learning about or advancing their skills in shooting trap, skeet or sporting clays. There will be an interest meeting this Monday, Dec. 18.

The meeting will be in the Early Voting Room, which is located inside the County

Administration Building. Meeting time is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Practice details, participation fees and other important information will be discussed.

If you have any questions regarding this program or are interested in becoming active in 4-H, call the Extension office at 473-8484.
