Multi-Cultural Club pitches in to help grieving family

Selling an assortment of homemade Mexican and American food including, the wildly popular “chicaronnes,” or fried pork rinds, are MCC club members Luna Luna and Julian Martinez, at right. The club raised just shy of $2,880 for the Cruz family whose mother recently died in a car accident.
Warren County High School’s Multi-Cultural Club (MCC) recently held a successful fundraiser in the cafeteria at the school. Members raised $2,880 to help the local Cruz family who in January lost their mother, Yazmin Guillen, in a car accident. The money will go to help with living expenses while their father continues to recover from the serious injuries he sustained in the accident.
