McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department is offering 10 free movies this year, and The Redemption Center will provide free popcorn. Movies in the Park kicks off March 31 with “Despicable Me 3” at Cat Walker Field behind McMinnville Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. “We’re partnering with The Redemption Center to bring these free movies throughout the year,” said McMinnville Parks and Recreation event coordinator Kyle Clyde. “This year’s films series will tour some of our great parks.
