Tyler Hillis, 16, crashed in this 2000 Chevy Silverado as he was traveling down Harrison Ferry Mountain on Highway 8 on Wednesday morning. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Hillis lost control on the wet surface, over corrected, and went off the right side of the road, striking the rock wall and then a tree. He was transported to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital for a head injury.
