Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville will hold Warren County’s first Mother-Son Date Night this Saturday, Oct. 19 from 6-9 p.m. in Bobby Ray Elementary’s gymnasium.
“We rarely hear about mother-son events so we thought this would be a great community event,” said Suzy Casey, JA president and event organizer. “Moms are unsung heroes who are so deserving of recognition in today’s world.”
The theme is superheroes. Costumes, capes, and masks are welcome but not required. Event tickets are $35 per couple. Each additional child costs $10. Each ticket price includes dinner, an edited photo, entertainment and the opportunity to create fond memories.
“Participants can dance the night away dressed as their favorite superhero,” said Casey. “This event is going to be wonderful for mothers and their sons. Participants will be provided a great time with music from a live DJ, a talented photographer, and catering from Topz Metro Deli.”
All proceeds will go directly to funding events sponsored by Junior Auxiliary, like Coats for the Community this Saturday, Oct. 19, and Christmas in the Park which is set for Tuesday, Dec. 3. The organization’s mission is to serve the children in the Warren County area, and fundraising events make JA’s mission possible.
Tickets can be purchased at McCay Wealth Advisory LLC, Pioneer Pediatrics (see Kayla Hurst), or Red Berry Salon (see MaKayla Savage).
They may also be purchased via the Junior Auxiliary McMinnville Facebook page or by email at email@example.com.
