McMinnville City Administrator Nolan Ming was honored by Northern Illinois University (NIU) recently when he was offered the opportunity to provide closing remarks at the awards and hooding ceremony upon receiving his master’s in public administration (MPA). Ming was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration as well. Ming says he chose the NIU MPA program because, in addition to being one of the top three programs for that degree in the nation, it’s close to the town where he was raised.
