Midwest Maintenance has the confidence of Upland Design Group when it comes to its ability to complete work on WCMS’s pedestrian bridges at the price given. Concern was expressed during a county Financial Management Committee meeting for Midwest Maintenance’s bid of $98,750. The price was $59,250 below a cost estimate for the project, and almost half a prior bid of $181,000.During Monday’s county Education Committee meeting, Upland Design Group architect Allen Hill attempted to ease those worries.
