The judges deliberated heavily on Monday evening, and Lauren Mansfield managed to earn another pageant title as the 2022 Fairest of the Fair. Mansfield is no stranger to pageants as she was Miss Warren County Teen USA and came close to the 2021 Fairest of the Fair crown, earning first runner-up. With the win, Mansfield becomes the first to complete a Warren County A&L Fair pageant trifecta, having previously won Little Fairest in 2014 and Teen Fairest in 2018.
The anticipation was high as the names were announced in the court. Mansfield jumped for joy and clapped in celebration as she heard her name announced over the speaker as the winner. The decision didn’t come easily or quickly as the judges asked the top 10 to make an additional trip to the stage to help them decide.
“I’m really excited to be Fairest of the Fair,” said Mansfield, “I’m a rising senior and going to college soon, so it’s the perfect time to win and represent Warren County at the state competition.” Mansfield wowed the judges with her stage presence and interview.
Joining her in the 2022 court was third runner-up Alexandria Bonner, second runner-up Kalia Stewart, first runner-up Kaydee Rains and Miss Congeniality Myka Crawford. It was a relatively young court of finalists with Rains being the oldest at 19. Bonner and Stewart are both 16 and Mansfield is 17.
The top 10 contestants were Arden Cummins, Savannah Winfree, Lauren Mansfield, Cadence Todd, Alexandria Bonner, Alondra Parada, Alena Muncey, Jaycie Hodges, Kaydee Rains and Kalia Stewart.
