If your holiday spirit needs a boost due to the pandemic, Lucky CIC is looking to provide it.

Lucky CIC members are holding their first Christmas in the Park on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. Served will be hot chocolate, desserts and caroling to usher in the Christmas season and provide joyful entertainment to the community.

“We’re needing to bring some joy and something pretty in unprecedented times,” said Teresa Pedigo, in explaining why CIC members wanted to provide this free event.

Warren County High School’s choir will be caroling.

The event will be a night of some socially distanced fun. Lucky CIC president Russell Pedigo says the park’s size will provide plenty of room for attendees to be safe as they enjoy the sights, sounds and tasty treats offered that night.

It is a free event, but donations are accepted.

“Since we didn’t have the fair, donations would be appreciated,” said Russell.

Teresa added, “It is our hope that people can come and enjoy the normalcy and walk away with some joy.”

Lucky CIC is located at 8406 Lucky Road. Parking, which is also free, is at the ballfield.
