Paul Matheny, retired Commander in the US Navy, returned to the McMinnville Noon Rotary Club to speak about the Trail of Tears last Thursday. He emphasized McMinnville and Warren County’s role in the historical event. Matheny led with a bit about the benefit of history, and how it can improve our thinking, conduct and behavior.
