J's hosting charity cornhole contest

J’s Restaurant is seeking the cornhole champion in Warren County.
Show why you’re a bag of awesomeness on Saturday, Oct. 14 in the Three Star Mall. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the tournement begins at 11 a.m.
“We are having a cornhole tournament as a fundraiser for Kids of the Community,” said Junior Petit, owner of J’s Restaurant. “If this goes well, I would like to hold different tournaments throughout the year with the proceeds going to different charities. I’m trying to get it to where 100 percent of the money raised goes to the charity.”
Cost is $25 a team. Two individuals per team. Prizes will be awarded for first and second places.
“We will have gift cards from businesses here at the mall,” said Petit. “We’ll also giving away a set of cornhole boards. Come out and show your stuff.”
Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center has been invited to set up a pet adoption drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 “I would like this to be a pet adoption drive, as well,” said Petit. “I’ve invited Animal Control to participate. They do a really good job at Animal Control. We need to support their efforts.”
