It’s time for floats, crowns and football.

Warren County High School homecoming festivities are ready to bring excitement on Friday, beginning with the homecoming parade at 1:30 p.m. The parade will feature floats from each of the four WCHS classes and hundreds of screaming students looking to cheer the Pioneers to victory.

The parade will start at Tire Mart and travel the length of Main Street before ending at the Farmers Market.

When action turns to the gridiron, the Pioneer football team (2-3) will try to even its record with its first-ever win over the Siegel Stars (0-5). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Nunley Stadium.

It will be a special moment at halftime when members of the homecoming court are announced at midfield. The ceremony will include crowing the Homecoming King & Queen.
