A panel on healthcare reform is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 at Magness Library, 118 W. Main Street. The discussion will be broadcast on WCPI Public Radio 91.3. Audience participants are welcome. Panelists include:• Aftyn Behn from the Tennessee Justice Center• Dale Humphrey, CEO of Saint Thomas River Park Hospital • Garrett Adams MD, medical director of the Beersheba Springs Clinic • Carol Harris MD, president of the Physicians for a National Health Care Program.Each panelist will present a 10-minute summary of how the current healthcare system impacts the people of Tennessee and rural healthcare as well as outline changes that could improve outcomes for all.
