Santa loves his reindeer – and dogs too.

Pet pictures with Santa Claus is returning as one of two fundraisers in December for Helping Animals of Warren County, a nonprofit dedicated to helping pets.

On Dec. 19 from 9 to 11 a.m., Jolly Old Saint Nicholas will be at Citizens Tri-County Bank on Main Street. A $5 donation gets your pet a picture with Santa and a treat. Humans are asked to wear facemasks and social distance while waiting in line. Hand sanitizer will be available. 

Before that, HAWC is offering a movie on Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. at Three Star Cinema. Shown will be the Disney animated classic “Lady and the Tramp.”

“Come out and watch a movie, eat pizza and bring your favorite stuffed dog,” said Hollie Cox, HAWC president. “Pajamas are encouraged. A $10 donation includes ticket admission, a piece of pizza and a drink. Those donations go into our spay/ neuter fund. We also have a family of four special for $35.”
