A man who was charged for reckless endangerment when his gun discharged in a Walmart dressing room has been hit with another gun-related offense.
Robert Harris Jr., 28, has been charged with aggravated domestic assault for reportedly throwing his girlfriend on a bed and threatening to kill her.
According to the warrant for his arrest, the incident happened Thursday when Harris and his girlfriend began arguing because she “refused to have sex with him.” The girlfriend began gathering some of her belongings in an attempt to leave when Harris turned violent, according to the warrant.
“Robert Harris Jr. threw her onto the bed, held her by the throat with his arm and pointed a shotgun to her head, telling her he was going to blow her brains out,” the warrant reads.
The female was able to get away from Harris and reach her car, which is where she called 911. McMinnville Police arrived and officers confiscated a shotgun from the scene.
It was earlier this year in April when Harris accidentally shot himself in the leg when he was in a Walmart changing room. A 9mm handgun inflicted the wound when it fell from his pocket.
Harris was initially transported to River Park Hospital and then airlifted to Vanderbilt. His reckless endangerment charge for that incident is still pending in Circuit Court.
