The Warren County grand jury handed down indictments during its October session. Among those was a man accused of brandishing a loaded crossbow on neighbors in the middle of an aggravated assault against his girlfriend.

Kevin Lee Fralix was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault and preventing a 911 emergency call.

According to the McMinnville Police report filed by patrolman Brenton Hickerson, the female victim involved in the physical domestic assault reported that Fralix became angry when she woke him up about their daughter.

“She stated that Mr. Fralix grabbed her by the throat, put his hands over her mouth and shoved her against a wall.”

The victim also stated that she tried to call 911, but Mr. Fralix grabbed the phone and took it. Then he placed the child on a couch and “started piling chairs upside down over the child” as to try and bar her from leaving with the child.

Upon exiting the home with the child, Mr. Fralix “grabbed a loaded crossbow and came out onto the porch and started pointing it at everyone” and yelling at them, the report states.
