Leave it to a politician to change his mind.
According to information sent from Gov. Bill Haslam’s office on Thursday afternoon, the governor will not be in Warren County this weekend to attend Bluegrass Underground at Cumberland Caverns.
“Due to a shift in the governor’s schedule, he will not be able to attend Bluegrass Underground at Cumberland Caverns on Saturday as previously planned,” wrote his press secretary, Jennifer Donnals, in an email.
The seventh season of Bluegrass Underground is set to be taped this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The PBS show has drawn rave reviews for its production quality and Cumberland Caverns has been mentioned in several publications as one of the country’s truly unique concert venues.
