Chris P. James will be performing classic Eagles hits with The Nashville Session Cats at the Park Theater on June 30.

The Warren County High School football team will begin selling tickets this Wednesday for an Eagles tribute band to be performing Thursday, June 30 at Park Theater.
Chris P. James & the Nashville Session Cats will be performing classic Eagles songs such as “Take it Easy,” “Peaceful, Easy Feeling,” “Best of My Love,” New Kid in Town,” “One of These Nights,” and “Hotel California.”
Tickets are $20 and $8 from every ticket will directly benefit the WCHS football team. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Seating is general admission.
Anyone who wants to attend the concert should contact a member of the football team or contact head coach Tom Moore at 668-5858. Tickets will also be available at the Park Theater. Tickets have coupons from local businesses worth a total savings of $40.
Coach Moore says the fundraiser is part of the team’s Liftathon.
Moore said, “We have big goals for our Liftathon this year. We are excited to be a part of this concert, and 40 percent of each ticket will directly help the player who sells the ticket reach his fundraising goal. One of our players, Eli Eldridge, is going to play with the band in the opening set. Personally, I love the music of the Eagles. I went to see their reunion tour during the 1990s. This will be an entertaining night for everyone.”
Chris P James & the Nashville Session Cats will perform the best of the Eagles.
“Every professional musician I know has been influenced to some degree by The Eagles,” says Chris. “Their songs are ones audiences continually want to hear and bands love to play them.”
The Eagles were one of the most successful bands in American rock and roll history. Their Greatest Hits album was the best-selling record of the 20th Century, selling 29 million units. The Eagles had five No. 1 singles, and sold 150 million records worldwide.
Local performers, including Kelly Walker Slaughter, Lucy Haston, and Eli Eldridge, will perform with the band in the opening set.
