Criminal trial and arraignment dockets were heard on Tuesday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court.
Included in Tuesday’s action
• James Edward Anderson pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
• Tyler Berry was sentenced to 10 days in jail, plus the court costs for a failure to appear.
• Scotty Randall Hendrixson pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Consecutive to that sentence he was ordered to serve 10 d days for a failure to appear.
• Charles A. Ikeard pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
• Russell Summit, Jr. pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to 4 days in jail, $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Zachary Ambrose waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case over to the grand jury. He is charged with three counts of aggravated domestic assault.
• Robert Patrick Anthony pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to serve 13 days in jail and extended 6 months on probation.
• Zackery Cantrell pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license 5th offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Jennifer Marlene Elkins pleaded guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 24 hours in jail, $150 fine, plus court costs.
• Natasha Jade Ferrell pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 5 days in jail, plus court costs and ordered to stay away from the victim.
• Kelly Gibbs was admitted into the Second Chance program and was ordered to successfully complete an anger management course, pay court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. This case will be reviewed in July.
• A failure to appear was issued for Debbie Green. Her bond was set at $3,000. She is charged with allowing animals to run at large.
• Justin Hale pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, $750 fine, plus court costs.
• Roger Dale Hosse had a preliminary hearing on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia. The court found probable cause and bound his case to the grand jury.
• Christopher Irelan waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with domestic assault, aggravated domestic assault and violation of bond conditions.
• Brandy Dawn Jennings had a preliminary hearing on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence. The court found probable cause and bound her case to the grand jury.
• Mikayla McGee pleaded guilty to two violations of bond conditions and was sentenced to 10 days in jail on each count; these sentences run concurrently. Consecutive to those sentences, she pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, $50 fine, plus court costs. She also pleaded guilty to no driver’s license and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs. She also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine.
• Shelia Ortega pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
• Marty Lynn Rhea had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with arson and vandalism.
• Margaret Taylor had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She waived her preliminary hearing on simple possession of a schedule V substance.
• Lacie Ann Varner was issued a failure to appear on the charge of unlawful drug paraphernalia. Her bond is set at $3,000.
