Criminal and Traffic dockets were heard recently by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court. Included in General Sessions decisions:

• Amanda Gale Crook pled guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. She also pled guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Ronnie Allen Emberton pled guilty to illegal taking of wildlife and was assessed a $50 fine, ordered to surrender the deer meat and horns. He also pled guilty to violation of big harvest game tags and was assessed a $100 fine, plus court costs.

• Jimmy Gilbert was admitted into the Second Chance program and was assessed court costs, ordered to maintain good and lawful behavior and have no contact with the victim. He is charged with harassment and this matter will be reviewed next year.

• A capias was issued for Brian Ging, with a hold without bond for his failure to appear. He is charged with joyriding and theft.

• Jonathan Kyle McCormick’s bond was revoked in court yesterday for failing a drug test. He is charged with a violation of probation and this matter will be heard next month.

• Ashley Melton waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with tampering with evidence.

• A capias was issued for Adam Castillo Perez and his bond was revoked for a failure to appear. He is charged with a violation of probation.

• A capias was issued for Oscar Terraz Rodrigeuz for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with aggravated domestic assault and possession of drugs.

• Chandra Ward waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with aggravated criminal trespass.

• Kelsie Lashelle Christian waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with joyriding.

• Jasmine Davenport had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind her case to the grand jury. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

• Floyd Daniel Fults pled guilty to criminal contempt for his failure to report to jail and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Trevor Lee Hicks pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He also pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $750 fine, plus court costs. He was ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. He also pled guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to 7 days in jail. These sentences run concurrently.

• Scott Emmanuel Johnson waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with personal personal or real property.

• Christopher Doyle Leverrett pled guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to 14 days in jail. He also pled guilty to theft and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, assessed a $150 fine, plus court costs and banned from the victim’s premises.

• Penny Sue Myers pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 15 days in jail, ordered to continue her mental health treatment and probation restarted for two 11 month and 29 day sentences, to be run consecutively.

• Brian Lake Owens had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with child abuse.

• Kenneth Lee Pack, Jr. pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 110 days in jail. He also pled guilty to driving on suspended license multiple offense, and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 40 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $750 fine, plus court costs. He also pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 40 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $750 fine, plus court costs, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. The latter two sentences run concurrently, but consecutive to the violation of probation.

• Rickey Scott pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $750 fine, plus court costs, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. He also pled guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation and assessed a $500 fine. These sentences run concurrently.

• Mateo Michel Perez pled guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Michael Brandon Redmon pled guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.

• Raul Rivera pled guilty to driving on a revoked license second or subsequent offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Jenny Lynn Tafte pled guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, assessed a $250 fine, plus court cost. She also pled guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment and assessed a $150 fine.

• Wilmer Velasquez pled guilty to driving on a revoked license and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pled guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 12 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation. These sentences run concurrently.

• Steve A. Brown pled guilty to DUI third offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 120 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation with the DUI Adult Recovery Court, assessed a $1,100 fine, loss of driving privileges for 6 years, ordered to perform 24 hours of litter pickup, attend the victim impact panel, successfully complete the DUI safety education class, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.

• Keldrick Jerome Cox pled guilty to simple possession and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, assessed a $250 fine, plus court costs. He also pled guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Kylie Brooke Smartt pled guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. This is consecutive to any previously imposed sentence.

• Dustin C. Bennett pled guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.

• Christopher John Callis pled guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, assessed a $150 fine, plus court costs. He was also ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.

• Matthew Trent Cantrell pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. He also waived his preliminary hearing and bound his new matters to the grand jury for a plea by information. He is charged with DUI first offense, possession of methamphetamine, three additional counts of simple possession, and introduction of contraband into a penal institution.

• Keldrick J. Cox pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

• Augustin Marquez pled guilty to driving on a revoked license second or subsequent offense and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Emilio Cruz Ramirez pled guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 180 days in jail. He waived his preliminary hearing and bound his new case to the grand jury. He is charged with evading arrest and violation of an interlock device.

• Troy Jimmy Ray waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with two counts of driving on a suspended license.

• Andrea Satterfield waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.

• Robert Scott Spurlin waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with driving on a revoked license.

• Justin Woodard waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.
