Criminal and Traffic dockets were heard recently by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court. Included in General Sessions decisions:

• Derick Barks pleaded guilty to possession of a legend drug and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Heath Ricardo Crisp pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to six months supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Justin Hale pleaded guilty to possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, assessed a $150 fine, plus court costs.

• Alicia Y. Hernandez pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Cheryl Christi Ann Smith pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.

• Scott Christopher Smith pleaded guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was assessed a $250 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was assessed a $30 fine. 

• Orlando B. Zaragoza pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Facundo Acosta-Carillo pleaded guilty to a DUI second offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $600 fine, plus court costs, ordered to perform 24 hours of litter pickup, loss of driving privileges for two years, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, ordered to attend the victim impact panel, DUI safety education class, and ordered to follow all aftercare treatment orders from the Adult Recovery Court. He also pleaded guilty to another count of DUI second offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $600 fine, ordered to perform 24 hours of litter pickup, loss of driving privileges for two years, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, ordered to attend the victim impact panel, DUI safety education class, and ordered to follow all aftercare treatment orders from the Adult Recovery Court. These sentences run consecutively. 

• Brandie Dense Alamilla pleaded guilty to criminal contempt for failing to report to jail. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail. This sentence runs consecutively to any previously imposed sentence. 

• A capias was issued for Cody Austin Martinez for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine. 

• Brandon Redmon pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. 

• Jessica Root waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with three counts of first-degree murder, one count of felony theft of property and one count of misdemeanor theft. 

• Caleb Brookins had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with three counts of first degree murder and felony theft of property. 

• Lareea Frazier pleaded guilty to failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. She also pleaded guilty to another count of failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively. 

• Ashley Lopez pleaded guilty to failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Taliesha Martin pleaded guilty to failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Hollie Troutman pleaded guilty to failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• A capias was issued against Dakota Ryan Bennett for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to resale and unlawful drug paraphernalia. 

• Peggy Nevels pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay restitution, banned from the victim’s premises and assessed court costs.

• Elisha Boles waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with one count of felony theft and one count of misdemeanor theft.

• Dontae Lee Forsythe had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with assault on a first responder. 

• Billy Wayne Fults waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with filing a false report. 

• Sonda Lawson pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim, successfully complete a 12 hour anger management course and pay court costs. 

• Nevaeh Faith Leath pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. She also pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay court costs and successfully complete an anger management course. 

• Anastasia McCormick pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim, successfully complete a 12 hour anger management course, and pay court costs.

• Christopher McCormick pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim, successfully complete an anger management course and pay court costs.

• Coree Mandell Mooneyham pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay restitution to the victim, $150 fine to the economic crime fund, assessed court costs and banned from the victim’s premises. He also pleaded guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Clifford Peele waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with aggravated assault, violation of a no contact order, and coercion of a witness. 

• Noel Silva pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 20 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay court costs, have no contact with the victim and successfully complete an anger management course. 

• Teri Ann Tatum pleaded guilty to passing a worthless check and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay restitution to the victim and assessed court costs and a $200 fine to the economic crime fund.
