Judge Bill Locke has ruled on the following cases in General Sessions Court.

Janice Louise Brown was released on time served and given an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence for shoplifting. She was ordered to stay out of Discount Tobacco Outlet and pay $96.54 restitution.

Charles Burger was ordered to serve his original sentence plus 10 days for failure to report to serve time.

Ryan Martin was ordered to serve 48 hours for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Vickie Ann Merriman was ordered to serve 48 hours and pay $219.47 restitution for worthless checks.

Christopher Parker was ordered to serve 10 days for failure to appear.

Stanley A. Poe Jr. was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and fined $750 for possession of meth.

William Roller was ordered to serve 10 days for failure to appear.

Colby Taylor was released on time served and given 11-29 probation for domestic assault. He was ordered to have a mental health evaluation, a drug and alcohol assessment, and have no contact with the victim until he completes an anger management class.

Charles A. Turner was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for violating an order of protection.

Ordered to serve jail time for violation of probation were:

• Dominique Desean Cox, 90 days

• Robert G. Follansbee, 120 days

• Terry Devon Harmon, 30 days and he lost his judicial diversion

• Richard Wayne Norrod, 30 days

• Joshua Cantrell, 60 days

• Shawna R. Coates, 48 hours

• Matthew Gerald Edwards, 90 days
