Sentences were handed down this past week by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Court.Included in court action:Joseph Demon Spivey, Nicholas James Klingerman and Alanis Cheyenne Cook were all bound to the grand jury on charges of carjacking and aggravated robbery. They are charged with luring a man into a remote graveyard and robbing him during a date he set up with Cook on an online dating site.Jaqualyn Tyler Prater was ordered to serve 60 days, make restitution and pay $75 plus costs for shoplifting.Nicholas Lane Lawson was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and make restitution for theft and violation of probation.Christopher Gary Sloan was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs and must make restitution for joyriding and possession of meth. He was given another 10 days in jail for failure to appear in court.Brandon Ross Wickham was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for harassment and possession of meth.
