Sentences were handed down Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Arraignment Court. Included in the morning session:Evie Leda Comfort was granted an 11-month, 29-day judicial diversion and must perform 24 hours public service work, make restitution, and stay out of Walmart for theft.Brittany Leann Musick was directed to serve 10 days for failure to keep a child in school. She was given 45 more days for violation of probation.Alberto Gonzalez was ordered to serve 90 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $650 plus costs, and lose his driver license for DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license.Melvin Douglas Crouch must pay $50 plus costs for setting a fire without a permit.Jason Ray Pocus was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $300 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for simple possession of drugs and driving on a revoked license.Jessica Renae Fitts must serve 90 days for violation of probation.Chaney Eugene Smith was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence for violating an order of protection.Alvin Simpson was ordered to serve 10 days of a six-month sentence for criminal impersonation.Tammy Drury and Phillip Wilson were instructed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and lose driving privileges for one year for driving on a revoked license.Thomas B. Russell must pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.Mikaella M. Garcia must perform 25 hours public service work and have probation extended by six months for violation of probation.Clara Garrett must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.Jeffrey Howard Gilbert must serve 90 days for violation of probation.Ladonta D. Hall must serve 30 days for violation of probation.John D. Myers must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.Carol Ann Tipton must serve 30 days for violation of probation.
