It could be a few more months before installation of flashing lights at the intersection of Highway 70S and Rock Island Road. According to TDOT spokesperson Jennifer Flynn, two sets of flashing lights are making their way through the process. “There are two separate projects currently in development on U.S. 70 S (SR-1) to install flashers at intersections,” she said.
