Fire destroys home
A trailer fire occurred on Grandview Ave. Lot 4 in Mt. Leo around 11 a.m. Tuesday. Collins River Volunteer Fire Department, along with McMinnville Fire Department, responded to reports of the trailer being fully engulfed in flames. With 10 firefighters on scene, the blaze was contained in around 30 minutes. According to fire Capt. Neil Walker, two people lived there, but neither was home at the time. “From all indications, the fire might have started from space heaters,” said Walker.
