There are two opportunities remaining to take advantage of drive-thru registration and receive vouchers for the Senior Farmers Market Program.
The remaining drive thru dates are this Thursday, June 23, and next Tuesday, June 28. Times are from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days.
This program is designed to assist seniors in purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables by utilizing vouchers at the Warren County Farmers Market.
Authorized farmers provide fresh, unprocessed, Tennessee-grown produce, including fruits, herbs, and vegetables. This helps the local economy as well as improves the participants’ health.
Participants will receive $40 in vouchers to be used at the Farmers Market during July and August.
To be eligible for the program, seniors must meet the following guidelines:
Be a resident of Warren County
Be age 60 or over
Meet income guidelines as shown below
• 1 person, $17,667 annually or $1,473 monthly
• 2 people, $23,803 annually, or $1,984 monthly
