Farless on year's probation for assaulting daughter over trash

A father was placed on probation for a year after he assaulted his daughter for not taking out the trash.The defendant, Christopher D. Farless, 37, entered a guilty plea before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to the reduced charge of domestic assault. He was granted an 11-month, 29-day judicial diversion and had his case referred to the Department of Children’s Services and will be required to abide by its recommendations. The diversion means he can have his criminal record erased once he completes his probation.
