Fanning the Christmas flame
Generosity sells on Black Friday
SantaCraneWEB
Santa ignited cheers with a flaming entrance to Three Star Mall on Black Friday from the ladder of a McMinnville firetruck. Santa was accompanied by Fire Pup.

In between searching for gifts, shoppers bought into the spirit of giving on Friday.
Volunteers with the Warren County Toy Ride collected $6,638 standing outside Walmart and Big Lots. The money will be used to buy toys for the Rescue Squad's annual Toy Drive.
"Some people don't like to give money. They would rather give a toy and we understand that," said Rob Wolford, one of the Toy Ride founders. "Giving toys works best for us too because all we're going to do is take the money and buy toys so it cuts out a step for us. We love accepting new, unwrapped toys."
If you'd like to make a donation, toys can be dropped off at TCB Tattoo or Free Bird Bail Bond. They can also be donated at the Toy Ride itself set for Dec. 10 at noon at Plaza Shopping Center.
