Multiple charges are pending against a Rock Island man after a confrontation with not only his father, but with deputies, as well.

Randall Christopher Evans, 36, was arrested on Belk Rd. Wednesday night, and faces charges of assault against a first responder, domestic assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

The charges came after Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies were sent to the address in reference to a possible domestic assault. Deputy Eli Butler arrived first and made contact with Evans, who was allegedly not only visibly intoxicated, but was in the front  yard screaming so loudly neighbors came out of their residences to see what was causing the disturbance.

Deputies spoke with Evans’ father, who reportedly told them he was in fear of his son’s actions and threats that had been made toward him.

While sitting on the front porch of the residence, Evans allegedly instructed his dog to bite the deputies on scene. The dog reportedly made two unsuccessful attempts to bite Deputy Dillian Siebers before biting his right foot on the third try.

While being placed under arrest, Evans reportedly refused to stand and obey lawful commands after being brought to his feet by deputies. Officers were ultimately successful in getting the suspect to their vehicle, and transported him to jail. Due to his alleged intoxication level, Warren County EMS was called as a precautionary measure.

Evans is facing a total bond of $20,000 for his four charges. If he is able to post bond, he is prohibited from having any contact with the alleged victim, from possessing or using a firearm or other weapon, and from using alcohol or other controlled substances.

Evans is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 15.
