An officer was injured after a man jumped the counter at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital’s emergency room and had to be forcibly removed from the facility. The suspect, Matthew Shawn Young, 34, is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He will appear for hearing Jan. 9.
