A Main Street Live fan favorite returns this Friday night. Entice is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m. on the West Lawn of Security Federal.

The fifth installment of the Main Street Live summer concert series seeks to tempt the audience with Motown and R&B.

Entice, the band, is out of Nashville and is a frequent visitor to the Main Street Live stage. The band has lived up to its name during past concerts by bringing a wide array of music and getting the crowd on its feet by going out into the audience, as well as bringing people on stage.

“We always try and get the crowd involved,” said band member Eugene Ewing. “When that happens, it makes a better time for everybody. The crowd in McMinnville seems to really enjoy it.”

Entice specializes in a wide variety of music ranging from Frank Sinatra to The Blackeyed Peas and everything in between. Among its vast playlist are hits such as “1, 2 Step” by Ciara, “Aint too Proud to Beg” by The Temptations, “Mustang Sally” by Otis Redding, “Brickhouse” and “Easy” by The Commodores, “Electric Slide” by Marcia Griffith, “I Wanna Love You” by Akon, and “Play that Funky Music” by Wild Cherry.

The Friday night concert series is organized by Main Street McMinnville and is offered free to the public thanks to generous sponsors. Food vendors start serving at 6 p.m. and Entice is scheduled to begin playing at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music on the West Lawn of Security Federal on Main Street.
