Edward Spencer Elrod married Frances Davis in 1945. The couple met while he was serving his country in the Coast Guard. He was born and raised in the Oak Grove area of Warren County.
A local man has pled guilty to felony escape and introduction of drugs into a penal institution after leaving a court-ordered treatment center and having a Schedule III drug on his person when arrested and taken to Warren County jail.
