Carol Lynn Prater of McMinnville received her doctorate in education at Union University’s commencement ceremony Saturday, May 20. Dr. Prater is principal at Eastside School in Rock Island. In addition to obtaining her EdD at Union University, she graduated from Motlow State Community College with an associate of science degree and from Tennessee Tech with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies-human learning.Prater also has a master’s degree in instructional leadership and a specialist in education degree in instructional leadership.
