More Warren countians went to the polls early than ever before, setting a new early voting record and leading election organizers to predict a monstrous turnout for Election Day this Tuesday.“I think this is an excellent barometer for Election Day,” said election administrator Donna Smith. “We are looking for a big turnout.”Early voting ended Thursday night with 8,661 Warren County voters casting early ballots. The total contributed to the 1.67 million voters around the state who exercised their early voting option.While a record for Warren County, Smith said more than half of the county’s registered voters are yet to cast a ballot for this election.
