The local crackdown on drug activity continued Friday afternoon, as officers from the McMinnville Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant resulting in three arrests just a few blocks away from a similar raid the previous day.

Officers responded to 106 Beta St. Friday, after being issued a search warrant due to suspected drug activity at the address, which is part of the McMinnville Housing Authority.

Arrested at the scene were Tyson Locke, Curtis Crumb and Toby Meeks.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers recovered a firearm, and – according to WCSO Investigator Justin Colwell, who was on the scene along with Investigator Calvin Hammond and multiple members of the MPD – also discovered drug paraphernalia and several grams of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Locke, who is reportedly a convicted felon, is expected to be charged with illegal possession of a firearm. Full charges against the other suspects taken into custody Friday will be released as they’re made available from the proper authorities.
