A deal has reportedly been brokered to reopen the Driver Testing Center in its former location across from Warren County High School, provided the city of McMinnville is willing to fork over $4,000 a month.The city Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet in special session this Tuesday at 6 p.m. to consider the deal that has been reached with the state of Tennessee. “Good government requires compromise and persistence, and this pending agreement is a product of both,” said McMinnville Mayor Jimmy Haley. “This deal will involve a partnership between the McMinnville and Warren County governing bodies.”During the special session Tuesday night, Haley will be asking aldermen to support the idea.“I call upon all elected officials to rally behind this worthy endeavor,” Haley said.
