Local author and former special education teacher Suzy Cowell recently had one of her short stories, titled “The Paper Sun,” published as a children’s book. Suzy wrote and illustrated “The Paper Sun,” and has written many more stories that have yet to be published. Suzy’s family has been very supportive of her writing, and two of her daughters have assisted her by making illustrations for her collection of unpublished stories.
