Covenant holding consignment sale

Covenant Academy will be bringing back its consignment sale to raise money for the school. The school usually does this sale twice a year, but the most recent one took place in 2019.

Organizer Tina Lassiter said they were in the process of organizing at this time last year, but quickly had to cancel due to the pandemic. Lassiter said, “It’s good for outreach and a great fundraiser for the school.”

There is room for 100 consigners to reserve a spot and time to drop off clothes or items you may want to sell. Given the space, there is a limit on items you can bring, but they are asking for a wide variety.

Lassiter said for this particular sale, you can sell plenty of items: spring/ summer children’s clothes, infant clothes, maternity clothes, baby equipment, sports equipment, working toys with all the parts and new batteries included (if needed), video game consoles, DVDs, and books.

You can also sell shoes, but there is a limit on those. Everything should be new-looking and in good shape.

Not only are they looking for consigners, but they are also looking for workers. The shifts are only three hours, and you will get early shopping privileges before the public can shop. Consigners get second privileges for the sale.

Drop-offs will be scheduled for March 22-24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You need to text or email Lassiter to reserve a time during that schedule to drop off your items. The sale opens to the public on Friday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It continues Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The drop-offs and the sale will take place at Covenant Fellowship Church.

“Now’s the perfect time to get ready for the Covenant Academy Consignment Sale,” Lassiter said. To schedule a drop-off appointment, text Lassiter at (931) 808-2379, or email at caconsignmentsale@gmail.com.
