Adult cases were heard Monday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions court.

Included in Monday’s court action:

• Jamie Copley was given a $3,000 bond for failure to appear with two counts of failure to keep a minor in school.

• Sara Dean was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school.

• Ronda Gunter was ordered to serve 10 days and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school.

• Angela Keller was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school.

• Chelcey Lanier was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school.

• Jennifer Johnson was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school and was ordered to serve an additional 24 hours for a second truancy count. These are to run concurrently.

• Angela Crouch was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school. Crouch was given an additional 10 days for failure to appear.

• Taliesha Martin was ordered to serve 48 hours and was fined $50 for failure to keep a minor in school and was fined an additional $50 for a second truancy count.


A traffic arraignment and trial docket were heard Thursday by Ryan J. Moore.

Included in Thursday’s court action:

• Heidi Cripps was fined $10 for public intoxication.

• Billy Joe Hadden was ordered to serve 30 days and was fined $250 for driving while license was canceled.

• Kevin Marcom was given an 11 month, 29 day probation sentence and was fined $250 for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Marcom was also ordered to pay $500 to the victim. He was also ordered to serve 48 hours a 6-month probation sentence and was fined $50 for driving while license was revoked. These are to run concurrently.

• Dorothy Samantha Mason was ordered to serve 7 days of an 11-29 probation sentence and was fined $350 for a first offense of DUI. She was also, ordered to serve 24 hours of public service work, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment, attend a DUI class, attend a victim impact panel, and have her driver’s license revoked for one year.

• Willard Franklin Powell III was ordered to serve 150 days of an 11-29 probation sentence and was fined $1,100 for a third offense of DUI. He was also ordered to serve 24 hours of public service work, attend a DUI class, attend a victim impact panel, and have his driver’s license revoked. Powell was given another 11-29 probation sentence for reckless endangerment with no weapon. These are to run consecutively.

• William Taylor Simonton was fined $50 for light law in a motor vehicle.

• Luis Joel Rocha Villanueva was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 probation violation and was fined $600 for a second offense of DUI. He was also ordered to serve 24 hours of public service work, attend a DUI class, attend a victim impact panel, and have his driver’s license revoked for 2 years.

• Juan J. Becerra Balderas was fined $10 driving without a license, financial responsibility law, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, totaling in $30. He was also ordered to pay restitutions to the victim.

• Michael Fields was ordered to serve 10 days for failure to appear.

• James Glenn Gannon was given an 11-29 probation sentence and was fined $250 for simple possession or casual exchange. He was also ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment. Gannon was fined $10 for speeding.

• Payden Truman Lee was ordered to attend safe driving school for unlawful use of a telecommunication device while driving.

• Carlos Peralta Fuentes was fined $10 for speeding and driving without a license, totaling in $20.

• Marco Alejandro Lopez Reyes was fined $10 for speeding and driving without a license, totaling in $20.
