Warren County commissioners can miss as many meetings as they want and the county is not allowed to withhold their monthly salary.According to Ken Martin during Monday’s Policy and Personnel Committee meeting, he has been in contact with County Executive Herschel Wells and the county cannot withhold salary for absenteeism. “What we talked about in the last committee meeting was about members not getting paid if they don’t attend,” said Martin. “I had County Executive Wells call and do some checking and that’s not the only reason they get paid.
