Firefighters from Morrison and Centertown, as well as responders from Warren County EMS and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, were dispatched to 355 Cooper Rd. in Morrison at 11 a.m. Friday for a structure fire. A small residence on the property was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze. The two residents were not home at the time of the fire. Unfortunately, officers on scene reported their family dog perished in the blaze.
